How I Work?

Tailored for your Unique Individual Needs

I take an integrative approach to therapy, combining evidence-based psychological theories with holistic healing practices to support your unique journey. No two individuals are the same, which is why I tailor therapy to your needs—drawing from different modalities to help you explore, heal, and grow in a way that resonates with you.

My Therapeutic Approach

The therapies I work with are rooted in both traditional psychological frameworks and modern integrative practices, allowing for a flexible and client-centred approach. Below is an overview of the key modalities I draw upon:

Therapeutic Modalities I work With

Person Centred:

At the heart of my work is a belief in your inner capacity for healing and growth. Person-centred therapy, developed by Carl Rogers, creates a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you are encouraged to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. This approach fosters self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience, empowering you to navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.

Attachment Theory and Transactional Analysis

Our early relationships shape the way we connect with ourselves and others. Using attachment-based therapy, I help you explore how past experiences influence your current relationships, emotional patterns, and self-perception. Transactional Analysis (TA), developed by Eric Berne, offers a structured way to understand your inner dialogue and interactions with others, helping to break unhelpful patterns and cultivate healthier ways of relating.

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy is about awareness and presence—helping you to become fully engaged with your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours in the present moment. It encourages experiential exploration, where you may use creative techniques to gain insight into unresolved emotions or unfinished experiences. This dynamic, active form of therapy can lead to profound self-discovery and transformation.

Jungian Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Parts Integration

Our psyche is made up of many different parts, each carrying its own voice, needs, and wounds. Inspired by Carl Jung'swork and the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, I guide you through a process of parts integration—helping you understand and harmonise the different aspects of yourself. This approach is particularly helpful in working with inner conflict, trauma, and identity exploration, supporting a journey towards greater self-cohesion and wholeness.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy helps you explore the big questions in life: meaning, purpose, freedom, responsibility, and mortality. It is a deeply reflective process that encourages you to confront life’s uncertainties with awareness and authenticity, ultimately guiding you towards a more fulfilling and meaningful existence.

Motivation Theory & Behavioural Change

Understanding what drives you—your intrinsic and extrinsic motivations—is key to making meaningful changes in your life. Drawing on Motivation Theory, I help you identify what holds you back, what inspires you, and how to align your actions with your true values. Whether you are working through self-doubt, procrastination, or seeking a deeper sense of purpose, this approach supports you in moving forward with clarity and intention.

A Tailored, Holistic Approach

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. Depending on your needs, we may integrate elements of mindfulness, breathwork, somatic techniques, creative expression, or functional health coaching into your sessions. This holistic way of working allows for deeper healing—addressing not only the mind but also the body and spirit.

If you’re ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Get in touch to explore how we can work together.
